My Story

I am passionate about supporting the discovery of optimal performance and health for my clients. Educating individuals about their unique structure, compensation patterns, and greater potential for overall health is my life’s purpose. As a Structural Integration practitioner trained in the classic 10 series developed by Dr. Ida P. Rolf, I enjoy working with individuals to support and guide them in their personal journeys. I have worked in the field of Movement Education for 25 years. I began my career as a professional modern dancer, dance teacher and certified Pilates instructor. I am certified in Pilates through BASI and a master Pilates trainer with Balance Body. I am also a Reiki practitioner and teacher. Graduating with a MS in Kinesiology from California State University Fullerton and later an MFA in Dance from University of California Irvine I currently teach as an Associate Professor in the Department of Dance at Chapman University.

I believe everyone has the potential to have efficient and pain free movement. In 1994, I was a dancer struggling with injuries and chronic pain. After having excellent physical therapy and trying additional modalities I still couldn’t find a place where I could dance and function without chronic pain. Desperate to find a solution I completed the classic 10 series and for the first time had relief from my chronic pain. The work embraced me as a whole person, working to align and integrate the fascial tissues of my body releasing compensation patterns and compressions in joints. The Structural Integration series had a profound impact on my life both physically and emotionally. For over 20 years I have wanted to pass this gift of greater health to others and now as a structural integration practitioner I can. I look forward to working with you to support your individual journey to find your full potential.
